It was a gorgeous weekend in the Okanagan! For the first time in weeks, the early morning sunshine poured through my window. I knew it was going to be a great day!

All of my life I’ve always been a morning person. I’ve never been part of the 4:30am club, but I’ve always thought of myself as someone who enjoys mornings.  The morning allows me to organize my day, reflect on what I’m grateful for, and tackle whatever challenges are thrown my way.

I put on a pot of coffee, leashed up the dogs, and headed out for my morning walk. The sun looked warm, but to my surprise it was really cold. Beautiful but so COLD!! Being in nature, breathing fresh air and exploring is when I’m my most happiest. Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall.

Andre and I bundled up and decided to head down to Peachland for the day. We walked down Beach Avenue, stopped in for a treat at Bliss Bakery and captured some drone footage along the way. The wind was cool by the water. I applied a thick coat of SkinSmart Organics Peppermint Lip Balm to my lips and cuticles to act as a barrier from the Winter wind. This stuff SAVES my lips every Winter. I literally keep one in every jacket & purse I own.

That night my skin was feeling especially dry, and I noticed a little redness in my cheeks. I decided to use the Micro Exfoliant to buff away the dead skin cells and calm my cheeks with it’s mask component. I gently scrubbed the product into my skin using upward circular motions and let it dry for 5 minutes. The organic oatmeal & rice flour instantly calmed the redness, I followed up with 3 drops of  Anti-Aging Serum and about a pea size amount of the Herbal Moisturizer.
